The Sweet Peas Design team is expanding!

No –we didn’t eat too much over the weekend….We’re just excited to welcome Angela LaVistato our studio.

Angelais a very talented and experienced interior designer who is closing her ownstudio, Chelle Design Group in Libertyville, and joining our team as a seniordesigner starting Monday, November 2.Before taking the reins of Chelle more than five years agoAngela was principal of LaVista Design Group for seven years and prior to that she was a showroom designer andbuyer and an interior design consultant for amajor retail furniture store. She studied interior architecture and interiordesign at Northern Illinois University.

"Asa child I would arrange the china cabinet, stacking the glasses and creatingvignettes of place settings," said Angela. "I would move furniture around andpaint rooms different colors. My mother let me do whatever I wanted, and thanksto her I had the freedom to develop my creativity."

Angelalives in Green Oaks with her husband, Mike, and their two sons, Rocco, 10, andBlaise, 8. She is a student of healthy living and eating and a devotee ofmindfulness meditation, and music has always been a big part of her life.

"Ising in a band with my husband for fun," she said.
