“Giving Tuesday,” A Chance To Give Back Even Though It Is Wednesday

Nothing has been more satisfying to me during the past year than being a board member for LakeCountyCares, a small local agency with a tiny budget and an army of volunteers who reach out to so many needy people in our communities. LCC is participating in the national “Giving Tuesday” campaign which encourages those who are able to give to the charity of their choice. Here’s the philosophy: After celebrating Thanksgiving and scoring bargains during the long weekend, including Cyber Monday(!), we have “Giving Tuesday” for sharing.
