Movies have sequels, and so do home renovations!
After completing their family room update this Green Oaks couple called us back for a makeover of their mudroom, pantry and laundry room, and recently they invited us to refresh their master bath and master bedroom, continuing the original “plot” of clean lines and elegant neutrals.
Working with economy in mind, we preserved the original footprint of both rooms and left all key elements in place in the master bath, but gave both rooms a custom look without going wild.
The clients splurged on Italian white Carrara marble tiles throughout the bathroom, in a layout we designed. We also managed to make the shower a bit deeper, we added a frameless shower door and built-in niche – always a must-have for me. Notice the tiled ceiling in the shower too – I always recommend that as a defense against mold. The matching vanities are striking, too, but a budget-conscious selection – they are hammered metal from Restoration Hardware.

In the master bedroom we punched up the “wow” with two mirrored nightstands, sassy celadon lamps and luxuriously fluffy pillows on the existing chairs. We finished it with a coat of rich taupe paint that pulls everything together.
Who knows where this series will take us next!
