SPD has won the ASID Illinois 2016 Design Excellence Award

We are all so thrilled to receive the 2016 ASID-Illinois Award for best Residential Project Under 3,000 Square Feet for my new condo in Chicago!  It is such an honor when peer judges from ASID chapters (American Society of Interior Designers) across the country recognize our work - I am so proud of my entire team. I could not attend the annual ASID-Illinois Celebration of Design on Friday night at Chez Chicago, but Junior Designer Lauren Benditzky accepted the award on behalf of me, Senior Designer Beth Kweton (now retired) and our Architectural Associate Jennifer Cioni Tarello. As if that weren’t enough excitement, our project being featured in Modern Luxury Interiors Chicago next month!  We can’t release photos until that article appear, so stay tuned for more! The Celebration of Design was a festive affair awards were presented in 21 categories ranging from various Residential categories, Healthcare and Furnishings to Lighting, Kitchen Design and Outdoor Spaces. Congratulations to my good friend and weekend morning walk partner Donna Mondi who took home three of the awards this year - way to go! And thanks to everyone at ASID-Illinois and across the country for this amazing honor.
