Dining Room – Before and After

These clients trusted us to take their dining room to WOW!, and we delivered. They asked for a brighter space, updated furnishings with seating for 10 to 12 at the table and they wanted those wow factors, which we love to provide.

We chose two custom chandeliers for maximum lighting and installed them on an angle to showcase their dramatic, contemporary shapes. We custom-designed a large scale rug in a stylized damask pattern to visually enlarge the space and we selected an extra wide table to accommodate two head chairs at each end as necessary to seat 12 people (only one shown in photo).

The neutral palette of charcoal gray and buttercream allows the homeowners to add splashes of color with linens, serving pieces and table décor when entertaining family and friends.  Notice that the chairs are upholstered in two fabrics: a supple leather on the chair backs and a textured neutral on the fronts. The subtle variations in paint colors for the ceiling and walls complements the edginess of the ebony lizard wallcovering below the chair rail.

We think their guests will be WOWed!
