We can easily imagine this eclectic space as the lobby of a hip, urban boutique hotel with its intimate conversation area, sleek fireplace and artwork. But it would work just as well as a gathering spot at home for family and friends in a trendy neighborhood. The sophisticated, off-white color palette comes alive with colorful paintings, glass sculptures and a “zebra” hair on hide rug. Texture adds interest in the form of “deconstructed” wallpaper – a conversation piece with its ripped, torn and semi-rolled applications – and a dash of fur on pillows and seating.
