I fell in love last week in Park City, UT! Oops, I meant with Park City, UT. This was my second visit with my friends and our clients, Linda and Rick.

My previous visit was in the fall a few years ago right before they closed on a second home in Silver Springs. I thought the town was quaint and the mountains gorgeous then, but it was just as beautiful this spring.  I'm at best an average skier, but am sure the powdery snow and views must be really something in the winter! This time I was back to photograph their home. Having made a life change, they are living in Park City 3/4 of the year and the Chicago suburbs 1/4 of the year- in the summer.

After long days of styling, accessorizing, fluffing and collaborating with Scot Zimmerman our photographer extraordinaire, we had dinner at the St. Regis Deer Valley Resort, Blind Dog and Riverhorse.  All three restaurants are Rick and Linda's favorites and I know why!  The meatloaf at Blind Dog.... yummy! A glass or two of red wine along with the altitude and I slept like a rock.

The first day we stopped in Silver Cricket for fresh flowers and were able to find all that we needed, including vases. It helps to go into the big refrigerators in the back.

We picked up accessories as needed from many of the little shops on Main Street and on the last day we took a tour of the Washington School House Hotel. A darling 12 room boutique for couples or families. And of course, we did some damage at Hilda's- a clothing boutique that we found on my first trip. Two more crisp white shirts have been added to my closet! If you haven't been to Park City, I suggest a visit anytime of the year as it is not just for skiing! In the summer you can ride the Alpine Slide, the Alpine Coaster, Zip-line, hike, bike the trails, swim, golf, fish, river raft, rock climb or browse the many art galleries and don't forget shopping.
